A charismatic young conductor of extraordinary natural ability, JOOLZ GALE has been recognised by musicians and audiences alike for his remarkable musicianship, versatility and maturity. His début recording in 2008 with Bayerischer Rundfunk has led rapidly to a busy conducting schedule, with concerts throughout Europe, Latin America and the Far East. In less than a year, he has performed with numerous orchestras including the Bamberg Symphony, China National Symphony, KZN Philharmonic, Filarmónica Arturo Toscanini, and the Simon Bolivar National Youth Orchestra of Venezuela. Well-known as one of Europe's foremost pianists KATJA APEKISHEVA is a prize winner of the Leeds Piano Competition and Scottish Piano Competition. She has appeared as soloist with many of the world's leading orchestras including the London Philharmonic, the Philharmonia Orchestra, the Halle Orchestra, the Moscow Philharmonic, the Jerusalem Symphony and the English Chamber Orchestra. Her CD of Grieg’s solo piano works released in 2008 has received overwhelming critical acclaim and received "Rising star" award in the International Piano Magazine and was Critic's choice for the year 2008 in Gramophone Magazine.
