ROUCHER DU TOIT started to play the piano at the age of four and made his début with the Cape Town Symphony Orchestra at the age of sixteen. He completed his studies at the Royal College of Music and also furthered his studies in organ and choral training in Europe and England. He is the organist and music director  of the oldest church in South Africa, the Groote Kerk, and teaches organ, piano, singing and improvisation. As organist he regularly performs in Europe’s foremost cathedrals.
